I have a 2001 Hyundi Accent with an automatic transmission. I drove it to the store and when i came out i put it in reverse and nothing happened engine just reved up. I can put it in drive and after driving about a block the engine reves up again and then will jerk into gear and go.

Hi XXXXXXXXX,

It sounds like you lost the reverse clutch in the transmission. If the fluid has not been changed recently, you should have someone pull the pan on the trans and inspect inside looking for metal shavings first.
