degree of freedom numerator = k - 1 = 3 - 1 = 2
degree of freedom denominator = N - k = (n1 + n2 + n3) - 3 = (7 + 9 + 12) - 3 = 25
p-value = 0.01590
We reject the null hypothesis since the p-value is less than 0.05. We have sufficient evidence to conclude that the wages of the nurses in three major cities are different.
