You have removed the key from the fob and try to manually turn the ignition? Also if the steering wheel is locked, try wiggling it back and forth to see if it frees up.

If that is not working, then it sounds like something happened to the key programing. When a key is not programed it will lock the wheel like you are describing. When you program the keys, you have to performed steering lock release, and then program the keys. If you have a key that has become or is not programed, it also could clear the programing of all keys. I am sorry to say, you may have to take it the dealer to have the keys programed. If you have any additional keys you will need to bring them also.

The only thing I could suggest to try before taking it to the dealer, would be to raise the front wheels off the ground so there is no pressure on the steering lock and see if that releases it. If not, then you will have no choice.

There is no other scan tool that can navigate through the Nat's system. The scanner used is the Consult 2 or 3. This tool links to the Nats control unit to get a number. After you get this number from the Nats control unit. You have to take this number to a computer program called Asist. You enter the number there and it gives you a 4 digit number that is used to release the steering and to program the keys. This scanner is proprietary for Nissan and Infiniti's only. There are systems that can duplicate key frequency, but there is no other way to program keys.

I have the program at work. This is a payed program that only the dealers have. This program contains all service manuals, TSB's and recall and service bulletin information. This it's support sight.

I have never heard of the Nissan super code. I don't know what that is. I know the earlier year Nissans all had one code to program keys. The new Model Nissans and Infinitis all require the Nats decoder, which is also part of the asist program.

The consult 3 I am not sure is for privet part sales. It just came a year or 2 ago. The Consult 3 is a laptop. I think it's around 8k US dollars if you could buy one. The scan tool is to new to get one used. I would love to have one myself. As for the Asist, the Asist works to year to date model Nissans. The Asist is a computer program, that has the Nats decoder program and all the service manuals on all Nissan and Infiniti models from 94 to date, as well as all recall, bulletins and so on.

I have never hear of this super code. Let me know a little about it and how it works for you. As for getting the code for you. I will have to double check, but there is a number on the BCM, that if you get, that is the 5 digit and numbered code I need to generate the 4 digit code for you. I can do that for you and get you the 4 digit code, but as I said, I have not seen any tool that can program that can perform this. I also have to double check on the exact number off the BCM you need.
