Question
My dog just ate one day's worth of human vitamins including calcium, multi-vitamin, vitamin D, C and B complex. He is 70 lb 1 year old lab. Do I need to induce vomiting?

Thank you for the question. Labs truly will eat anything.
For a dog this size, an ingestion of this size, one time rarely causes any significant problems. You may see a bit of loose stool tomorrow or even an episode of vomiting.
If I were going to worry about anything it would be the iron and vitamin D. However, for a dog if his size iron toxicity will not result until he has had a dose over ~630mg (most multivitamins contain only 10-18mg each). What was the dose of vitamin D?
If you would like to make him vomit as a precaution, you can give him 2 TBSP of 3% hydrogen peroxide. If it is going to work, he should vomit within 15 minutes. Otherwise, I would just feed him bland meals for a day or so until the stools are normal again (boiled chicken and rice works well).
Please let me know if I can be of further help.
