I have tryed to ask questions to my employer but i cant beleave anything he/they says he tells you something but nothing ever happens he says if we dont like it to quit an the times people dont work for a week or two you try to get unemployment they dont except it they try to work you all of a sudden
Answer
The employer can pay you whatever wage they wish to pay and that you agree to work for. They do not have to pay you for drive time to and from your house but if driving during the day from one work site to another then you are on the clock and get paid your normal hourly wage. Overtime is only required to be paid is you work more than 40 hours in a 7 day period so if you work many hours in one day and then are off for two days they do not have to pay you overtime. You can report the employer to teh environmental commission in your state for the illegal dumping or let the place know by an anyomous call that your employer is dumping on their site and they can sue your employer.
