Question

We have been renting for almost two years in 1 house. Last lease there was disputes with a late fees but we were allowed to sign the new 1 year lease anyways. The realtor (represents landlord) never asked again. We have been on time all throughout this new 1 yr lease. The new lease is up as of April 30th. In Dec I was laidoff. In Jan my husband was laid off. I spoke with the realtor and told her the payment plan for Jan/Feb. I emailed her payment plan. No response from her. We followed through with the first payment. I also informed her that I got a new job and we would be back on track. She emailed me today that her CPA found mistakes in her records and that we owe more money in late fees than she informed us. Now she says we pay all late fees and immediatly catch up on rent or we're out in 5 days. Can she do that? SHe has messed up books...now we have to pay for it? I made a payment plan...she was ok with it. What is the process? How soon do we have to vacaite?
