I have an Avalanche 2001 the ses light comes on took it to the dealer of course it's fine...tranny codes P1870,785,758 all passed when checked light is on again

OK, for the 2 codes, P0758 and P0785, they are usually set due to a loss of voltage often caused by a poor contact in the ignition switch. HERE is a bulletin that outlines that. The P1870 is a code for the torque converter. This could be an issue int he valve body, the seals going to the torque converter or the torque converter itself. I would first look at the switch and see. Test for low power on the transmission fuse which is the IGN O fuse int he left fuse block at the dash. IF the power is reduced, then you need a switch.
