Does a female cat's personality change after being spayed?

Answer
Hi,
Ordinarily, no. If she were in season when spayed the abrupt change in her hormone levels may cause a change of some sort which may or may not be long standing.
But other unrelated events in a cat's life are more likely to cause a personality change. Cats are creatures of habit and familiar surroundings. Sometimes just rearranging furniture will be upsetting. New people living in the home, a new pet, ( or a loss of one) can be a cause. And a variety of strictly medical issues can produce personality changes.
Some cats are resilient to the effects of change, others are quite sensitive. The underlying psychological base of the cat is probably the primary determinant of how it will react in any given situation.
I hope this is helpful and best wishes.
