Answer

Hi,
Cats will go into heat every 2 weeks when the daylight starts to lengthen--so usually mid-Feb throughout the summer. Indoor cats can cycle during the winter, too, because of the artificial lighting in the house. Getting a cat spayed while she is in heat does not complicate the surgery or the recovery time and I highly recommend it!
