I have low p/readings of 94 and h/side 367. the elavation here is 2510. home temp inside is 71d and o/s is 55.the heat from the unit to the air vent reads at most 83 and that vent is 8ft from the air handler, 68 in the rest of the home.Home is 2229 Sq. Seer 15.629 rheem. r410a 6 Mons old.when on cool air there is a stream of bubbles, on hot air just a few. the line to the home is 48 ft long and when U turn the heat off i get bubbles bleeding back for at least 5 mins.I can.t find out the chart readings for this Elevation .the chart on the unit has readings at sea level. It takes about 1&1/2 hrs to heat up the home from 68 degrees to 71 degs.my old unit 44 years old took way less time .appr.45 mins

Answer

HI Ed.yes I did thank you. .OK the pressures are about right and elevation really doesnt affect a closed system as it would an open one such as a gas furnace. I would think the problem is more inthe defrost system either the temp sensor or the board itself causing the excessive cycles which when defrosting lowers the heating time resulting in the lack of warmed interior air. Also when checking the pressures in heat pump mode a wet bulb reading at the evaporator is the temp you use for the chart in heat pump because the evap and cond have swapped jobs and the evap is the cond in heat pump mode. Might try a different tech if the one your using isnt familiar with that brand heat pump.
