Question

the fuse in the wiring box before the timer (Honeywell) control keeps blowing after around 4 minutes.

no not Combi it has a cylinder tank.

I would inspect all wiring between timer and unit for shorts due to bare wires or loose or improper connections. Look at gas valve wiring also for overheated insulation and possible shorts. Thanks Don
