Question

We have 3 cats and live where there is poison oak. Unfortunately, when we let them out, they bring it back in and my husband gets it. Other than keeping them cooped up in the house, or giving them baths like my husband does, is there any product that would help combat this? Any thing to keep it off of their coats or to spray on them after they come in contact with it?

Unfortunately, no. There is no repellant for poison oak. The best thing that you can do is try to eliminate it in your yard. Get rid of it as best you can.

Rather than bathing them, you could try wiping them down with a baby wipe when they come in from outdoors.

Let me know if you still have questions.
