Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXXX - This will be up to the court where you case is being heard. Generally there should not be a problem with leaving the country for a charge like this assuming you can meet all of the other requirements of your probation. Most probation for DWI is unsupervised so it's really a matter if you stay out of trouble no one will bother you.
Once you complete any sentence such as alcohol programs and pay all fines I doubt you will ever have to have contact with probation unless you commit another offense. Having said all of that I would advise you to ask your probation officer if leaving the country for a visit is permissible just to be safe.
Although a DWI is a serious offense it is not something that should affect your ability to travel.
