Dear Ms Garvey,
Is he still active tonight?
If you put a few drops of water, or food, on his tongue does he seem able to swallow?
What color are his gums?
No he's not active, seems to be unaware of his surroundings or tired.
He's now bleeding from the mouth. He wasn't able to swallow the water, it's what caused the blood to come out of his mouth. Weren't able to tell the color of his gums.
Do you have any Karo syrup or pancake syrup?
Rub some of that on his gums in case he has low blood sugar from not eating.
He may have something stuck in the back of his mouth or throat. Like a foreign object. That could be why he can not swallow and why there is blood.
He could also have an infection in his mouth or in his throat, such as an abscess.
I highly doubt he has rabies but if he has not had a rabies vaccine, put gloves on before you put the syrup in his mouth. It is good practice with any pet that has foam at the mouth and cant swallow.
You need to get him to the emergency clinic right away and have him checked out.
