my singer futura isn't getting any power when turned on.

Try and plug it into a different outlet , one that you know is live ,, or plug a lamp into the same outlet as the machine .. to know if we are looking at the machine or the outlet ,,

When you turn on the machine the light comes on but there is no power to make it sew. When i contacted singer they thought it might be a circuit board.
