I HAVE Model MBB2256GES Serial # 10252134CX A noise comming from the freezer compartment, when I open drawer, noise stops, starts again when drawer is about i inch from being closed. SOUND is a dull grinding noise.

Heard noise for the first time this morning.

This is your icemaker hanging up, when you open the drawer it shuts off the icemaker but when you close the door the icemaker is grinding, make sure that the icemaker fingers are at about the 2 o'clock position and if there is any ice cubes jamming it, clear it and see if that fixes it.
