hello earl,

I've seen many problems with stuck lens assembly here at JA.

have you drop it, bang it to something hard, or hit it with something, because those are the common causes of lens sticking

have you tried replacing the battery with fresh ones? turning it on and wait and if it won't move, press the on button again?

another option is to bang it to your palm and just hope that it would come back to its track.
if still nothing happens, i am afraid you just have to bring it to a camera tech for repair.

the gear on a lens assembly is so small that it needs special tools to open it up and repair it. the precision involve in this device is not a DIY.
if the gear got dislodge from its track, then it would be very hard to bring it back to track.
