Question

how do i get to the flasher on a 02 avalon? I am told it is behind the fuse panel near the top. I dont know how to pry that away.

Hello and thank you for using just answer. Are you having a problem that you need assistance with or just trying to replace a part? Do you need a diagram on the flasher relay location or have you located it and cannot get it out?

I have the replacement flasher. (The turn signals and flashers have not been working.)

 

I have the diagram, but cant figure out how to get to it

The relay should be straight up the left inner junction block closer to the firewall and near the wire harness boot from the engine compartment. If you have the new one then you have an Idea what it looks like. It should just pull out. Click the link below for an enlarged picture to download.

Would I access this by removing the fuse panel or how

Just follow the carpet up the drivers side where your left foot and toes would be pointing up under the dash and that will get you in the general area.
