Hi. well the current draw, is the power the compressor is drawing. So if a motor is on with no work to do. it say will draw 2 amps, Put a load on the motor like a compressor, The more of a freon charge, you put in the compressor, the more amp draw you will get. I THINK I PUT TO MUCH IN READING 2.5 AMP AND COMPPRESSOR WENT OFF THE NAME PLATE CANT READ EITHER 11.6 OR 1.6 ? THAT IS WHY I GAVE YOU THE MODEL THH24PRSBB

The amp draw on the compressor is not 11 .6 the draw would be about 2 amps.While running

Hi while your charging from the low side & the fridge is almost to its right charge the draw should be around 3 or 4 amps.Hope this helps you please accept. The appliance doc

Hi the suction pressure should run around 3 lbs suction& as close to 150 lbs on the high side, If you put to much of a charge the suction line will ice up,Hope I answered your question. Please accept The appliance doc

Hi. It should say on the plate, what freon it uses & the amount of freon, to put in to the system,You have to put in the same, as what the plate calls for.
