hi i had a hysterectomy about 7 years ago i know my ovaries were left have also had 3 bladder ops in the past plus a vaginal repair which was about 4 years ago in the last 4 weeks after intercourse or few hours later have noticed spotting of bright red blood is this any thing to worry about as i do relish the idea of having more ops

Is the discharge smelly at all- fishy or like yeast? Do you have any other symptoms? Were the ovaries just left and that's it?

hi i cannot remember if they took my cervix i know my ovaries were left it was done through the vagina discharge is not smelly it looks like fresh blood

This could be due to a number of different things including stress, hormonal and thyroid imbalance, beginnings of an infection, polyps, cysts, weight changes, just to name a few. I would make an appointment with your doctor to draw some blood to check your hormone levels to determine if their is an imbalance. Your doctor may also want to do a pelvic exam. If however the bleeding becomes heavy and you are changing a pad or more in an hour or less, you will need to go to the ER immediately as this is excessive.
