i have a 1999 montana, all the switches on the drivers door door not work, they do not illuminate either. you can hear a very slight buzz when the switches are pressed, which makes me think it might be a poor ground? can anyone tell me where i can find the ground location for the drivers door as i have tried to follow it but it just disapears into the firewall/bulkhead? thanks.

Answer

Here is a picture of that ground (G302) for the power window master switch. Also, check the wiring inside the lf door rubber grommet for any breakage, fraying or poor wiring connections.

Many thanks, the ground wire was frayed right through (in the rubber boot of the door) with just a couple of strands holding it together.
