i have a red oval on my tongue. its not sore, or painful. Just there and don't know what it is.

I am afraid you missed out a word,

Do you have a red oval 'ulcer', a red oval 'bump' or what?

Which part of the tongue is it on, at the front or right at the back?

its just a red oval spot. no bump, no ulcer. its just an awkward red oval spot on the middle on the tongue. like when i brush my tounge with a toothbrush around it the rest of the tongue doesnt have the same color. it is just an awkward spot. i didnt know if it was a fungus or nothing...i don't know

You are likely to be having Geographical tongue.
This is a condition when smooth red patches appear on the tongue due to an unknown condition. There can be a single patch or multiple, they may be migratory. This does not cause any health problems and does not require any treatment.

You should consutl a doctor to confirm this.
