Hello

1)is the 'GUY' HIV positive?/does he has any history of STD?
since you went away(offline),so i thought to answer your question
well if your partner doesnt has HIV,or other STD then you don't have to worry about this,
in case if you are not sure, then you can go for HIV test,
a person who is infected with HIV will become infectious themselves very rapidly (within a day or so), they will normally have to wait a while before an HIV test will produce an accurate result,
The standard test is HIV antibody test its looks for antibodies to the virus in a person's blood. these antibodies take 6 weeks to 3 months to develop.
getting tested before 3 month can give Unclear result.
however ,there is another test that detect the presence of HIV directly .
such as the p24 antigen test and HIV PCR test can usually give accurate results within three weeks of infection.
i hope i havebeen able to help you in this issue
please ASK if you need more clarification / Info
please Accept,if you feel it was satisfactory
GOOD LUCK
