I am a salaried employee that works 40 hours or more a week. I was informed last week that they will be reducing me to 32 hours pay but I was encouraged to work more since I am on salary. Is this legal?

As an exempt employee you dont qualify for overtime protection and the employer can require you to work more or less hours without additional compensation.
