MRSA, when it is treated comprehensively can be cured.

The healing process can take some time, and the hard feeling in the infected region which is due to the inflammatory process, can remain for some time, but it will go off.

Once it goes off, it wont come back again if you follow certain precautions, like hygienic practices such as washing hands, etc. The CDC website at the link below gives some advise on how to prevent further recurrences.
