My 14 year old daughter has white fingernails and toenails and has been recently diagnosed with vaginal ezcema. Is there any connection to the white nails. I just discovered her nails were white today.

Has your daughter's blood tests done and do you have the results with you. If so can you give me her Blood haemoglobin [Hb%] levels. Was any smear test done to confirm or negate any STD. is she sexually active? Pl let me know.

No she is not sexually active, but yes she was tested for a complete series of STD, all came back negative. I don't think I have had any recent blood work done for her. The last, everything was fine. I guess the main reason I am concerned is she does have mitral valve prolapse, but this should not constitute her fingernails and toenails turning white. They are so white it looks as though she has white fingernail polish on them.
