Trains A and B are traveling in the same direction on parallel tracks. Train A is traveling at 80 miles per hour and Train B is traveling at 90 miles per hour. Train A passes a station at 7:20 A.M. If train B passes the same station at 7:32 A.M, at what time will train B catch up to train A?

Hi, Welcome to Justanswer,
Train B passes the station 12 minutes after A.
In 12 minutes train A goes 80(12/60) = 16 miles.
Train B is 10 miles faster than train A.
It catches up train A after 16/10 = 1.6 hours. Or 1.6(60) = 96 minutes.
The time will be
9:08 A.M.
at that time.
