Question

Oil gauge bounces from medium to max level (max level being the needle on the gauge is horizontal. when i push on the gas. bounces sporadically and goes back to normal when I let go of the gas. Fixed a serious pressurized oil leak the other day now this is happening. Any ideas whats going on?

Chances are that you have an oil sending unit going bad or a wire from the sending unit going to ground intermently. The sending unit is not very expensive if you dont find any wires bare or broken, or rubbed against something.
