I had a vehicle accident on the job. The workers compensation Doctor recomended light duty for two weeks until after I went through physical theropy. But my employer siad that I would have to except another position at a lower pay to comply with the light duty restrictions. They told me that workers compensation would pay up to two thirds of the difference. But not a penny more. I did not ask for someone to hit me and total my work truck. So should I be made to take a pay cut of close to $70.00 a week.

Well I've tried telling them that I don't think that it is right that I would have to take a pay cut for something that i had no control over. But with no results.

Unfortunately, there is little that can be done here. I assume that it was a co-worker that hit you? You may have some recourse there, depending on the circumstances.
