A urinary tract infection can cause this, along with prostatitis, and Sexually transmitted disease. If you are at risk for and std's a culture of the discharge or a urine test can be done. Ciprofloxicin can treat some of these but prostatits requires a long course and some urine infections and STD's are resistant and require the culture to tell which antibiotics the bacteria is sensitive to.
If you develop a fever or blood in the urine call your dr right away.
Kidney stones can cause the urge to urinate but not usually a discharge unless inflammatory from the urethra itself. Continue to drink plenty of water in case. Cranberry juice also can help lessen adherence of bacteria to the bladder wall.
Either way I would see your dr to rule out the above as waiting too long can cause damage of the organs involved.
