Hi,
Glaucoma does not cause yellowing of the eyes. The yellow is usually caused by bilirubin (jaundice), which is processed in the liver. You need to see your doctor for an exam and blood work, including liver function tests, hepatitis serologies, and bilirubin.
If you drink alcohol, you must completely stop until you see your doctor.
Good luck and please click ACCEPT if this information was helpful. Thanks.
At 22 years old, your liver has an amazing ability to recover from injury. However, just some alcohol isn't a good explanation for your symptoms. Something else is likely the cause, and only a doctor's visit will determine that cause. You absolutely have to see you doctor IN ADDITION TO avoiding alcohol.
I'd appreciate if you would click ACCEPT so I can get credit for time spent on your case. Thanks.
