Accepted Answer

Tears in the foreskin of the penis are a common enough problem. The tear occurs in the part of the foreskin called the frenulum. Often, if not treated correctly, the tears become recurrent.

Once an initial tear occurs, it commonly happens that the tear keeps on recurring during sex. This is because the tear does not get time to heal properly.

You must give it proper time to heal properly. You should abstain from sex for a period of 10 days to two weeks. By this time, the frenulum will have healed properly and you can start again. But you must avoid rought sex such as anal sex for a month.

You can also apply Neosporin ointment on the tear.

If you have recurrent tears, you will need to consult a urologist for this. The urologist after an inspection, can determine whether you need to undergo some small procedure for this, such as stitches, lengthening of the frenulum or sometimes circumcision.
