Hi there my name is don
i will try and help you

if it is a 12 bolt rear end it still may use the same seal
there are numbers stamped on the axle tube on the passanger side but sometimes hard to read and you will have to use a wire brush to see them

however i would remove the axle on one side and the seal
take that seal to any parts store and get it matched up will cost you a lot less that way

this will also make sure that you indeed get the right seal

i beleive thatit was a standard issue rear end like the 68 chevelle s.s.

hope that helps
