mercedes sprinter intermitent engine seems to cut out for a second but continues runing as normal at the same time the tempriture gauge moves around eraticly tride fule filter and new egnition switch c d i 211 please can you help

It sounds like maybe you have a fault with the coolant temp sensor, however i wouldn't like to bet my life on it before carrying out a diagnostic check, so thats what i'd recommend you do first, get the engine fault memory checked, that should give some indication of what the fault could be.
