Question
i have 3 of my grandchildren in my care from cps. i was suppose to get the foodstamp card from both of my stepdaughters but i only got on the cps is arranging for daycare so i can go back to work, but my question is if i was a foster parent they would pay me monthly money but they said that they cant. the girls dont pay for nothing for these kids i have had them for 3 months and all i have gotten is a box of pullups and diapers and no money for anything times are hard with a one parent income and finding it harder so i want to know if the state still has to pay me for this i have to buy the clothes and everything they need.

No, the government only has to pay if you're certified as a foster care provider. When the children are placed with relatives who are not certified foster care providers then the expenses become out of pocket. However, you can file a support petition against the biological parents in family court to obtain child support.
