hello, my suv check engine light on quiet some time and yesterday starting flashing on and off check engine light, and chokking, don't have powder to drive on 35 mph on the road, and smell burning very strong on driver side.

it's Lexus RX300, year 2000 modle V6 all wheel drive has 135500 miles on it, i wonder if this is major problem with my car, if i take my car to the shop, what will be the fixing cost? low and high, thanks.

Your question has been moved here to the Lexus question category.I would like to be of some assistance here. First my recommendation is to NOT drive this vehicle, if the check engine light is Flashing this means that you have a SEVERE misfire and are damaging the very expensive catalytic converter and possibly damaging internalk engine components, the $60 tow bill you would recieve to have it towed to a shop will far outweigh the expense of replacing parts damaged by driving the truck in this condition so please park the vehicle and DO NOT drive it!!!
Most likely you have an issue here such as a failed ignition coil.
Is this a repair you need guidance on to do your self or were you just looking for some guidance on what to be prepared for when it goes to a shop?
