Question

We had a power surge now my ptac ac/heater will not shott out hot air. What part do you belive blew out?

Hi, sounds to me ur compressor is not runnig it probably overheated, turn off the ptac and let it sit for an hour or so then try to restart it

I unpluged all the units for over an hour and then pluged them back in and I still do not get enough hot air. The fan seems to blowing enough air, but it is just not as warm as it use to be.

sounds like only ur heating element is running so ur compressor isnt running then, could be anything to a burnt wire a capacitor or the compressor, recc. u calling a service company
