Answer

hi there, can you make sure that the fuses are ok. it is fuse 20 that feeds the motors directly and fuse 15 that feeds the switches. fuse 20 is a constant live and fuse 15 is ignition switched. you should use a multimeter or testlamp to make sure that the feeds are present. holding the switch in the closed position is only to reset the comfort one touch open/close function. cheers. davie

Hi Davie

I am pretty sure that the fuses are ok but I will recheck. Is there any other possible cause ? Is there a relay switch on the system that might have failed ?

hi there, there isnt a relay used in this system. the motors are permantly fed with 12v and switched though operating switches. its possible you have broken wires or have left a wire off at the battery terminal if you took it off to recharge it. cheers. davie
