Question

We have a Nordyne Series RA80+ furnace installed Oct 2005. The installer is no longer in business. The furnace will not come on. The fan is ok. The thermostat seems to be functioning and the AC part works, but the heat does not work. I am not sure if it still has a Nordyne warranty (5Years) and where do I start ?      XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX      Amerjeet Grewall

Hello and Welcome to JustAnswer HVAC

So that I may troubleshoot your furnace accurately and with the utmost proficiency, could you tell me from beginning to end of what happens when you set the thermostat to call for heat.

IE: the inducer starts, the pilot lights, the burners light, the blower turns on, etc.....

Hi Jason: Nothing happens when the thermostat is set to heat - No burners, no blower, nothing.

Answer

Check the fuse box. If it is not tripped, reset the breaker. Let me know...
