i have a carrier 48ss heat/air unit, the fan wont quit blowing and the heater will only blow cold air the red led is flashing 8 times can you help with a diagnosis?

Answer

Hi, If the fan is running all the time you have an open limit switch. Under the electrical box where the burners are look for a little switch with a button on top this is the roll-out switch. This is my first guess.
