Question

There is a pump (2002, 2WD, Suburban) below the drivers seat next to the frame that won't stop running. It looks like a brake system pump. It stops running only when I disconnect power. What should I do?

Answer

HI XXXXXXXXX

THAT IS THE ABS PUMP AND IT'S SHORTED

IF YOU REMOVE THE 60AMP FUSE FROM FUSE FROM UNDER HOOD FUSE BLOCK IT WILL STOP IT FROM RUNNING AND THAT WAY IT WON'T KILL BATTERY

YOUR BRAKES WILL WORK BUT YOU WILL NOT HAVE ABS
