jensen marine receiver

I purchased a marine jensen receiver/cd player. I want to mount it in my zodiac boat. The only place there is room I would have to mount it verically. Will this work properly?

Yes this will work fine. Of course you may notice it will skip a little easier when playing cd's, horizontal mounting is recommended.
