Yes, you can give your dog Immodium for diarrhea. The dose is 0.1 - 0.2 mg/kg orally every 8 hours. Collies can be overly sensitive to loperamide, however, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have a collie-type dog.
If your dog is 25 pounds, he could get 1/2 - 1 of the 2 mg Immodium A/D tablets. Hopefully you can figure out what dose you need if your dog is bigger (or smaller than that).
