Optional Information

Age: 2; Male; Breed: Blood Hound

Already Tried:
I de-worm my dog 2 months ago with "D-Worm" containing Praziquantel tablets. I gave him 5 tablets all at once.

Accepted Answer

Usualy this is one dose based on the dog's weight and then repeat in 2-3 weeks if you are trying to clear hook or round worms. If the dog has no more fleas (they carry the tapeworms) you should not need to repeat to clear tapeworms. The container should have directions on it.

This product is good for hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms only and will not clear whipworms.

Hope this helps you!

Why not clear the whip worms also, is it because this product does not contain Febantel?

Accepted Answer

They just don't react to the two poisons being used.

Panacur (Fenbendazole) is the prescription product that clears whipworms.

Safe-Guard is the over the counter product with Fenbendazole in it.
