yes, code 1446 , canister vent closed

Answer

Well, that is the problem. You need to change the vent control valve on the canister. It isn't opening when you put fuel in. This is giving the fuel vapors no place to go and causing the fuel to flow back up the fill tube. You take care of that valve and it will solve the problem. Hope this helps! Thanks
