What is involved in replacing a water pump on a '95 Pathfinder? Does the timing cover/belt have to come off?

Nothing, I want to know if I can do it myself. I have better than average knowledge on car repair. Approximately how long should it take to replace the water pump?

No problem, I just wanted to be sure. Yes to replace the water pump, the front timing cover would need to be removed, and at that rate, it would be wise to replace timing belt as well. Also other wearable items, such as cam and crank seals, thermostat and check timing belt tensioner.
