Answer

Hi Fiona

Do you have a room thermostat?

Is the timer/programmer built in to the boiler or seperate ( on the wall) ?

Hi Alex

No I don't have a room thermostat it is all built in to the boiler. Everything seems to be fine apart from the demand light not lighting up and not having any hot water/heating.

Answer

Ok the pressure sensor has locked the boiler out and you need to re pressure the system to about 1.5 on the gauge.

On this model you either have an integral filling point and you should have a white plastic key or sometimes the installer may have opted for a filling loop below the boiler which looks like this

I don't appear to have a white key but then again I can't see a loop below the boiler either.

Answer

If you look on the under side of the boiler there is a white cover (plastic) this just pulls away . on this cover there is a place for the key to be stored. I have yet to actually find one there though but worth a try.

I need to go out a breakdown , but should be back on line in about an hour and I am sure we can sort this one out
