I have a five month old Jenn Air refigator JFI2589AEP side by side with water and ice maker. I replaced the water filer and get water but no ice is being made. I reset the water filter several times turn the ice maker on & off many times but still each morning no ice.

you may have a frozen water tube that feeds the ice maker. this is the one that goes into the cup in the back of the ice maker. other than taht i wouldnt play with it if its still under warranty. check your manual for warranty info. thanks Bryan let me know

How do I get to the back of the ice maker to check the line? I can pull out the storage drawer that is where the on / off button is for the ice maker but I do not see a water line.

if you pull the ice auger out you should see the tube going into the back of the ice maker is this the type of ref. that goes sideways across the front of freezer section? let me know

There is a freezer drawer on the bottom that pulls out and the top is a side by side refigator with the ice maker on the left side of the door. If I pull out the auger there is not a water line unless it is behind the ice unit.

this is a french door refrigerator with the ice maker inside refrigerator sorry. heres a diagram of the ice maker , DANGEROUS URL REMOVED%2flis_png%2fPLDM%2fW0802080-00005.png part# 20 is where the water comes into the ice maker. have you check the warranty info on this yet? I believe you may want to call for service if this gets to involved, these are very complicated to work on and you may break something trying to remove parts. thanks Bryan
