I have a T8602D Chronotherm IV Deluxe Programmable Thermostat. There is the word filter flashing on the right side of the display screen. Ichanged the cold air return filter as I do every year on the on January 1st. It is still flashing. Is this normal and if not how do I get it to stop. It say nothing in the my manual.

the tstat doesnt know when the filter is dirty it shows that after a certain amount of hours goes by. there is not a reset filter button on the tstat

sure, there is a way to reset it on that tsat but i completely forgot how and i know it doesnt tell u in the owners manual right? any way its nothing to worry about
