Hi,
LGSIL refers to changes in your cervix. I'm sure you had a PAP smear, and the results showed Low Grade Squamous changes (LGS). This means that you have some changes in the cells of the cervix that can lead to cervical cancer, but that the changes were mild. Your repeat test showed HGSIL, which means there were High Grade Squamous (HGS) changes. This suggests that the cells were getting closer to becoming cancerous. You absolutely need a colposcopy to visualize the changed cells, and you will likely get a "cone biopsy" which is an attempt to remove the small section of the cervix which has the pre-cancerous cells.
It is very important that you have close followup with your GYN and get frequent Pap smears to prevent the progression of cervical cancer. As long as you do this, you should be fine.
Good luck.
